before the arms are done I am going to take a U bend of the same size tube, and put it between them.

It's 1" seamless DOM, fairly thick I'd say 3-4 times as thick as the 1" square I'm using for the chassis (16g)

Nope not me with the visial roll center, Ive kinda thrown away any ideas of determining roll center, I'm going with the idea that If I build it it will work....

Yah, sorry -- I was thiking about Pete Bura. I think you guys are geographically close to each other, so I get you confused. Not too hard... To confuse me that is!

That 1" seamless will certainly do the trick. You'll probably bend the frame before those go... That's the tube that a lot of the sandrail builders are using.

So long as you have some camber gain in bump.

Yes actually I do gain some camber in bump, I'm expecting to roll a decent bit.

pete isn't too far, he's out in pittsburg, about a 5 hour drive from me.

As far as the size of the tube, it's also what nascar uses for their A arms (yes that wonderful circular sport). I had the luck to get ahold of one that was in a wreck, I believe it came from dale jarrett, anyway i cut it up and brought it to the steel shop, and asked for what I had shown them. Believe me I'd much rather replicate what someone else has taken the time to figure out than try and do it myself.

What's funny about that is that the guy before you probably put no thought into it either, and got it from some other guy that did exactly the same thing... ad infinitum! :P

It'll do the job in any case. They look great!
