I know packaging is a nightmare, but at least one solo racer found the effort worth while.

The picture doesn't make the layout clear. If you Google until you find Terry Satchells explanation, the design is really simple.

The fact that the Jeff Kiesel is using it on his seemingly unbeatable Sprite is a strong endorsement. I've always thought that if I ever did something with a solid axle, or even De Dion, I would be strongly inclined towards the Satchell link...This only serves to reinforce that notion.

Seems too similar to the '79-'04 Mustangs, which had a problem with binding as the body rolled, or either side went over any large bump. The only cure for it, aside from converting it to torque arm, which still worked better in road-racing and autocrossing, was replacing all 8 bushings with Heim joints. That solved the binding.
