I put RPVs in the R1 build. Sure made bleeding the brakes easy. Were there any other positive or negative effects? Not that I noticed in the short time I autocrossed it.

Why not run the brake lines down the transmission tunnel?

In part, that's what I'm now going to do. Perry came up with a good layout and I'm using that as a guide. There is a forward part of the tunnel where it would be very difficult to protect the rear brake line from damage by the bellhousing and/or transmission and its mount on installation/removal. All three components (engine, bellhousing and transmission) go in/out together. It's a tight fit.

Cheers,

Damn! That front slip angle is way too large and the Ackerman is just a muddle.
