Hi all,

I have a book frame made and now I am struggling to get control arms made. I am using mustang II spindles.

I can't help wondering if I can use some off-shelf control arms. Like miata's upper and lower control arms including spindles. Obviously you will have to move bracket locations on the book frame.
Can it be done? What is the major hurdle there?

Jack at Kinetic Vehicles sells a control arm kits, and he's active on the forum here. If you want to go with Gaz shocks, he sells those too, as well as any rod ends you'll need. Check out www.kineticvehicles.com

I can vouch for the Kinetic control arms, well engineered, easy to build, very sturdy. Saved me a lot of time and effort after I snapped a book lower control arm.

Another vote for Kinetic. Your front suspension is out there for everyone to see, and the Miata control arms just don't look good.
