While contemplating using nylon suspension bushings or rod ends, i stumbled on these. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-S ... 11561.html These might be a good option for those that want nylon and don't have a lathe. Just need 1" id seamless pipe. I'm probably going with rod ends for adjustability but thought i would share.

You could also search Speedwaymotors.com for Nylon Shackle Bushings. They have 3 different sizes for $4.99 (set of 8 shouldered bushings. They were originally intended for leaf spring shackles but what the heck, we Locosters can make just about anything from almost nothing.

Chuck, those look much better suited seeing as they would fit a 1" dom with 1/8 wall. Plus having the flange would be beneficial. I didn't stumble on these during my search, thanks!

My pleasure.

I used their shackle assembly on my Cushman restoration rather than the OEM assembly with steel bushings and distance tubes etc. . It was a perfect replacement. I needed to know if the replacement bushings were available. Those were them.

I keep a selection of white nylon bushing stock from aircraft spruce. Dirt cheap but if you want to save shipping, annotate they cut it into one foot sticks for a smaller box if it helps. I pick it up in person.
