Someone asked for some F20C dimensions on Sunday and I haven't been able to find that thread again so I'm hoping this is a good place to put them so that whomever asked for them will find them.

I've done it in pictures.

Yo, Carguy!
Just how OLD is that yardstick? Love the phone number "CL 7- 3010"!

Reminds me of "BR-549" that we discussed in here somewheres.

I have no idea how old it is, but there were a number of them stashed in my father in laws garage when he died. Since they hadn't lived there since the 60's I'm presuming at least that old.

I'm also betting the stick was a light color at one time.

Re- "Light color" I bet you're right on that!
Re- "since the 60s" That doesn't seem like that long to me, until I think about it. Then I get depressed...

I remember people talking about the 40's as if they were yesterday and I couldn't imagine the ancient history of that time. Now I totally understand.

I just found this pic on the Australian Cubbies forum. It's better than what I did.

The short answer is YES!

I've been trying to get out there for 2 days and take some pics to show you how, but I keep getting out there without the phone.

The shifter "platform" is a web of castings that connect to the tail shaft.

The rods go through that tube you see on the top.

"All you'd have to do" is to cut the castings and shorten the rod/s? and you could make it whatever length you wanted.

The tough thing would be to make the shifter as solid as stock.

I WILL get you a pic!
