in this video, they use 3d print metal as joint for carbon tube

it is a very easy way to build a chassis, however, metal 3d printing is too expensive for normal people

in this web, this carbon tube structures also can hold high loading, only need contact plate, Rivet & epoxy bonding

what if we use both at the same time?

for more easy to see different parts, I use different color for them

a nylon x (carbon fiber nylon 3d print material) as inner joint, its strength is nearly metal and very light

special cutting make the tube connect each other, so the force can transfer between the tubes directly.

I like your concept and agree that aluminum plate is better than carbon fiber plate for the concentrated loads at joints. How about building a model of a joint?
