That Wasn't Fun to Watch. What was the objective of this track session, Red Stripe, to burn gas?
Suggest some instruction would be helpful and safer for the future.

Dang it. I had no idea that was going on this weekend or I'd have been there.. The track is 30 minutes from my house.

There's something about this even that brings on the hot weather like the Byron Nelson brings on the rain. The last time I looked it was 105 here.

It was a Sat. driving school. The idea was to learn to go fast by showing entry, apex and exit cones. The guy that spun did so due to an
overheat/antifreez dump. Didn't know he wasn't supposed to use ethylene glycol.

It was a dumb comment, I don't know why I bothered....

veightseven,

I don't know why but it kept my attention all the way through to the end. It was kinda fun though because in a way it made me think of my emotions of just wanting to get the hell out in front for a change. The yellow guy out in front didn't end up in the grass. Excuses! Excuses! His ass was in the grass, that simple. I bet they had a blast though. Wonder who bought the beer?

Mark.

Me to, kept expecting a spin. The orange car in the back was pushing it over the edge then catching it. He was also under powered. Could not keep up on the straights.

the car seems like it oversteers everytime the driver puts down the throttle, looks like it would be quicker with a softer rear spring (more rear grip) and some very gentle understeer to keep up the momentum through the fast sweepers.

The yellow car is a 500 hp Stalker driven by John Meyers, currently the proven fastest stalker on the Planet. The car with the camera is a 280+ Hp standard Super Stalker driven by a novice. So he didn't do to badly but there was no chance he was going to pass John.
If you add to much peddle at speed..... Stalkers, like any fast car, will break the rear end loose. Throttle has to be feathered in very carefully. The higher the speed the more you can add. Finding that point and staying on it requires a lot of practice and skill.
