I know it isn't exactly autocross, or really locost friendly, but do you know of anyone in the area running rally cross events? I didn't even know about the Allegheny Highlands Sports Car Club until I saw this thread, so maybe I'm missing something...

There's nothing. Someplace in Clinton was doing them last year but I don't think its happening this year due to some dispute over something.

Do you have to pre-register for any of these events? I can remember in the past looking at events through myautoevents.com and maybe some other site too, not sure.. but I'd hate to show up and be told no...

All of the NHSCC and the SCR stuff you just show up for. As far as I know AH is the same way as well but I've never been to any of their events.
