hmm, interesting... I do not have to deal with servo which makes things easier..

might investigate using a longish pushrod and placing the clutch master under the seat.. :)

In other news, think I can use eclipse/colt gti inner CV's as a direct fit into my diff (with a custom housing for the diff of course).... Talked to some local mitsubishi guys over here and will take a look at some used CV joints they have, next week.. This would be a great way of solving my need for custom stub shafts..

Have you ever determined why someone would pick floor mounted pedals over hanging ones or vise versa? I am trying to determine this for my ride. Is it just what fits best? Comfort?

I will put hanging pedals in mine because if I use floor-mounted the master cylinders will interfere with my stock header, which just fits ... the Autech SR20DE header is just too beautiful to throw away.

Yup.

Personally I never liked the feel of floor pivoted but I have no choice.

The clutch feel bugs me, with brake I have no problem.. :)

as far as packaging is concerned, floor mounted pedals with cylinders mounted under the drivers feet is unbeatable,.. but sadly not available easily..

I had the overhung from them (second hand) installed in my old saab rally build since I couldn't heel toe the stock pedals well. They worked great and I never had any issues. (except when i bled the system, now under the dash, and spilled fluid all over the inside of the car)

Kiki, here's an older way I was going to go with - note the square box pedal shaft has a round tube inside that the balance bar goes through and can pivot in, functional and dirt cheap to build.

what master cylinders are those.. Pivots at the end of the cylinder look much better than the usual attachment..

Just some common clutch cylinders with some female thread brass heim joints.

Otherwise they come standard with typical clevis joints.
