What, Midlana? No, however I already have the SB100 exemption in California which all but guarantees that it's legal for the street. The car's about 95% done for initial construction (pending teardown for paint) and then there's finishing the book. There are two "beta builders" using the early manuscript to help me flush out any issues with it before the book is ready.

Good question-never checked I think 11 gal. It is SS,baffeled and as big as I could fit. Allways figured if I needed more I do have room for 4-5 gallons infront of trans for long trips. Where is your thred located like to see what you are building?

That sounds like plenty of fuel, several hours worth. Should rarely be an issue.

I should put that in my signature too. Haven't cut steel yet, but like Kurt I thought it would be worth trying some different things for my frame. It's all in the "Messy Shop" thread:

Wiring and Pluming about to begine. Does not look like much but there is a ton of money in these pictures. Wish I had the time now.

Those are some real purty pictures and this is the place that you could post them and people would appreciate how much money is involved.

Jim,

Your profile says you are a fabricator. Your build log certainly proves that!

Very neat and nicely done. I envy your talents.

See you Saturday?

Yes great forum I just can never remember my login. Not realy complaining about cost its been spred out over so long now.
My problem with this build is by the time I get back intown from work and get my head around this build its time to leave again.
Been building another Hot Rod I can do those in my sleep.
Getting back on this forum is getting interested in this build again so Thanks

Langan, glad to see you're back at the Locost. You may be the one I talked to John (Kartracer47) about when I met him last Summer. I am in Port Angeles at least once a year. If I am there again this year, I'll try to look you up if you are willing....
