This is the first of a series of CAD drawings I will be posting, I would appreciate feedback.

Excellent CAD Work by Simon Keys - concept and configuration by Martin Lyon.

Looks great. How much heat will that motor put out? It is kind of close to your feet. What diff is that? I know there are a bunch of BEC guys that need a reverse rotation diff to use with shaft drive bike engines that have the drive shaft on the left. Russ

Looks like an interesting start. Do you have a plan not evident yet to control the chassis in roll? Have you figured out where you want to put the batteries?

I'm watching you!!
Seriously, I have a similiar drawing somewhere only I was thinking a copy of the FSAE chain diff with a belt drive, the motor and some of the batteries mounted in front of axle centerline.
(A pencil and paper may be old school but it works great when I'm doodling ideas.)
Changing the belt was the hard part since you had to completely dismount one pillow block and the CV on one side of the diff.
The research on that is what led me to the Kevlar drive pulleys I posted in another thread.
