BTW I figured why my headlights keep getting crosseyed. My tires hit them at full lock. Looks like I'll have to cut an inch or two off the mount bars.

My rule of thumb for headlight placement: keep moving them closer together until you can just barely remove the nose.

Robb's right, awesome photo!

Cool video. Looks fast. Curious about steering feel. Heavy? Light? Self-centering? I guess I'll know soon enough, but still curious what your experience is.

I haven't aligned it yet. I'm sure I have + camber on the right and -camber on the left. Toe is eyeballed to point north. That said, it handles pretty good. Return to center is good and I actually got good tracking when I let the wheel go. Haven't checked anti-dive yet. Need to bleed the brakes more.

Gotta love NH. I just got a lick it and stick it inspection with the car on the trailer, no tail lights and no working speedo!

Yes...I will let you know when I have sufficient bugs worked out (mainly the intake manifold leak). Should be next two weeks.

"Live Free or Die", isn't it? It looks like they really believe it.

Congratulations on an awesome and very unique build. Good luck at the upcoming show too. I love the wire wheel with knock-off at the rear. I bet you're getting lots of gawkers already.

Cheers,

My car was well received at the British Invasion car show. Photos below. What was great for me was when I drove by the Lotus paddock to park, they kept trying to get me to pull in to one of their spots. I also bought two front fenders from a booth there.

If you ever get a chance to go, do it. THere were so many great cars and great people. I'm sure it will be a yearly event for us.

It looks like a really cool show. And, your build look like it belongs there too. That's quite a compliment that the Lotus folks wanted you in their area. Congratulations!
