Thanks JDK!... I hope so
Lonnie-S .....1" x 1" 11 gauge....and 1" by 2" 11 gauge.....erring on the side of weight and slowness
Robbovius .....alfas
are under-respresented..... the sound of an alfa v6 on song is like no other !!
Cheapracer ..... alfas need an occasional flogging just to warm up the oil and drive off the volatiles....once ran a tank of 108 race gas through an Alfa Milano (a kind of 4 door GTV6 at a track-day at the local race track (Hallet)..... with several drivers and many sessions....at theend of the day the car ran the best that it ever had!
KLRB - good to rconnect with the local 7 community..... although it is non traditional and might not look "sevenish" .....it is from the 7 community....that I draw inspiration from.....
Gonzoracer.... guinness in a wine glass might be the most traditional thing I do....
KB58..... agreed triangulation is on the to-do list!
MYTF..... it might double as my sleeping platform....Mrs. Calgarylocost returns from vacation today..... (I kid)
Lonnie-S.... stretch locost - Good One!! - Without giving too much away the plan is to use all the suspension components / dimension of the Alfa GTV6 - but place the engine fully behind the steering rack.... this will require shortening and rebalancing of the troublesome engine speed drive shaft to the rear transaxle. Length of alfagtv6 about 12 feet.... width about 5.5 feet.....and given 4x8 plywood dimensions....led me to 6 x12.... for the body design I want to have the chassis with wheels on at table height
xr4Bill...... thanks for keeping asking me when I was going to start.... whenever I showed up at Alberta 7's meetings / car tours with my wild ideas
