Hey tom cheers,its mig welded and i pull the weld..its just the way i have always done it ,no fancy weaving or zig zagging just weld in a straight line ..hows the car coming?

Car is now happier, it has another partially started car to keep it company. I'll call you later this morning, I need a rear bumper cover re-attached on my Rousch F-150 AGAIN!

As some of you have noticed I was trying to sell my project.I have now pulled my head out of my a$$ and am on track again with the build.With a young family and a short attention span I was ready to move on and buy something I could put a key in and drive off in..but having nothing but time wasters and shamefully lowball offers made me change my mind on the build.I have been busy with the suspension, its pretty much done and I will have photos to add soon.

Good on ya. That's going to be a real exciting ride when you're done and probably a much better performer than what can be purchased on a family budget anyway.

Suspensions 99% done, just need to add flat plate to the front lower control arms for the shock mounts .After drilling and threading the heavy wall dom for the 22 heims on my neighbors lathe im now ready to get some coilovers.Next up is narrow the steering rack, flaming river said they would take care of that for $100 as its a fr rack .I need to find a fuel cell that will accommodate my stock 350z fuelpump .I found a local nissan tuning guy , he actually came over and looked at it, hes going to get rid of the nats off the ecu and make it run..cant wait.Exaust needs to be finished too, I made the headers but I need collectors and mufflers, probably going to use magnaflow.

Great project Wayne and nice to see you are going to see it through now. Sometimes its better to walk away for a bit and gather up a bit of enthusiasm. I dont suppose you are spoiled for choice on headers for a v6, a friend of mine is a F1 fabricator and makes some pretty neat collectors. if you need some made I can pop the question. He knocked these up for me in his lunch hour.

but I can't understand it for you.

I dont know how he does it but the inside is neater than the outside. The cone in the center is absolutely perfect and the insides of his tig welds are as neat as the outside. Its the same guy that built all the goodies on this viewtopic.php?f=33&t=16644 which includes the heat shields and even the gauze filters in the itb`s ( That I haven't bolted down yet because they are titanium and my drills wont touch them )

Since no one else has commented, I really like the Lincoln convertible in one of the above photos. One of the classiest cars of the '60's.
