I have an 86 isuzu impulse non-turbo for sale. Someone suggested that I posted it on here so here it is.
The body is pretty badly rusted, but it runs and drives just fine. its a 1.9L with 5spd manual trans, RWD, only has 113,000 miles on it (not bad for being 20 years old huh?). Its just taking up garage space right now so I would like for someone to get something out of it rather than scrap it.
Im not looking to get a lot of money for it, just something more than scrap value. I was thinking around $400
I can get pics for anyone that wants them.

Anyone interested?

Yup. How does it differ from the 87-89 models? Those are the model years that are reputed to be best for a donor vehicle. Do you have a title?

email me some pics to cburdette(at)mspwv.com if you don't mind.

I look on Wikepedia reveals that the "lotus suspension" was only on the 1988-89 model cars and that the first gen Impulse shares GM's T platform along with powerhouses like the Chevette, T-1000, and the Buick Opel. I think it had about 90 HP stock. On the Isuzuforums the 2.6 liter seems like a popular swap so I guess that's always an option.

I wonder if the parts will fit a book chassis.

Looks right to be a donor car.

Too bad it doesn't have the "Lotus tuned suspension" badge on the side. That would be a nice touch to a locost :-)
