On one hand the rods holding the rear struts bother me but in another way that offers the ultimate in adjustability.

I just talked to a friend of mine and we are going to try to go see it in person in a week or 2.

The more I've looked at it the more I like it. Not what I would have built, but there is a certain simplicity to it that appeals to me.

Now will it handle? That is the question and actually is the only question that matters to me.

Ahhh a pat on the back rather than any specific things he'd have done better. I understand both and was hoping for some great words of wisdom that would enlighten me and make me a better person. I learn so much on this forum.

Hello everybody. I hope you don't mind me chiming in.

My name is Adam Doyle. My dad and I are the guys behind the DF Goblin.

I just wanted to pop in to let carguy123 (and anyone else in the DFW metroplex) know that we will have the car at the Dallas Autorama this weekend (Feb 13-15). It would be the perfect time for you to come meet us and check out the car.

I finally finished reading the GRM thread and realized that they will be displaying the car at the DFW Autorama this week end. I had already just about worked up a trip over to your shop so this is better for me.

While I hate going to Dallas I've been looking for an excuse to go to the Autorama so unless something comes up at the last second I'll go over there, take pictures and talk to them about it.

While the car's not my ultimate cup of tea I do have the grandson that I was teaching to drive recently and this might could be a good father son project for him and my son-in-law. It's cheap enough and a fast enough build plus would give them a vehicle for autocrosses.

There's still some development work that needs to be done on the car and since you guys are within 1 hour of where they live so that would make things much easier.

We'll see.

BTW tell Brian Hi! from David & Debbie Bennett. He's an old friend of ours and is the guy who built the original Ultralite 7's.

EDIT2:
On the GRM forum you were worried about the weight distribution, have you checked it with a driver in the seat? it may not be as one sided as you are worried about.

It wasn't clearly stated how many (if any) passes we get. We are contacting them today to clarify a few things. I'll let you know.

However, one thing I do know for sure is that we have some extra screen printed shirts that we are going to give to forum members (from here or GRM) that stop by the booth. Here's an example of what they look like:



I couldn't respond to your PM because I am a new member. We will definitely be working out the front suspension before the beta kits roll out. What we have now is an okay start for a prototype but we've planned all along to change it.
