At the same time, I'm getting tired of all these fetish piece cars. There are so many of them now. They all have performance that will get you arrested if you actually use it and are so expensive no mere mortal can buy one. I'd like to see someone design and build a little kick-ass sports car by covering cardboard or sheet foam with some woven material (polyester glass fiber, carbon fiber, whatever) and then joining them by riveting and bonding, putting in running gear out of a production car and make it simple enough for an enthusiast to build. THAT would impress me.

I guess I'm grumpy today - shouldn't have watched the news. Me bad.
