Yo, Four!
If you chase down Briggs or Mnot, they're in Charlotte area. Both of 'em are building, but not built. I think they might have enough done to test sit in, see if you fit. And see if you can get out once you're in!

The worst part is the Ted has two of them right now, but I can never arrange a time to meet him to try them out. (the megabusa and an alfa motored one.)

I just doubt I'd fit in the book chassis based cars. He probably needs some grease to fit as it is...

How big are you? I'm 6'2" and way too close to 300 pounds and fit in a book chassis. It's definitely snug though.

I'm coming up to CMP at the end of the month for a time trial event. My car is a book frame.

I was down to 280 but the past two weekends have me around 29x... :(

About the same height. My feet fit in 14/15's...

I have size 12 feet and my toes are pretty close to hitting the bottom of the upper chassis tubes. I think the 442 chassis adds 2" there too, so shouldn't be too much issue. The pedal area is definitely tight on my car, but I've also got the bell housing all the way back in the tunnel. Heck, the while car is tight on me. But as I said, it's a book frame, not a 442. If I were to do it over again I'd build it slightly bigger, but I don't think I'd go for a 442. I've been eyeing up Marcus's Car9 design, which is more like a 221 compared to a book frame locost, but a much better frame design for stiffness and strength.

I...didn't even consider shoe size. I'm only 6' tall, but rock a size 13. I may just have to limit the kind of shoes I wear while driving. I've sat in the chassis and the rest of me fits decently now.. but I didn't even think to consider foot size.

I could barely squeeze my 11's in the R1's book frame
