Those bright shiny rocks you chiselled for the front of the car look pretty good...
Thanks JD, I flashback to my younger years watching the Flintstones, man that was quite a few haircuts ago.
Spent the afternoon in the shop. Took the rear fenders and mounted them. Sounds easy, but here's the story.
Measured and marked bolt hole locations for the right rear fender. Now I always drill 3/32" holes prior to drilling whatever the final size will be. I do that because I've had larger or final size drill bits wander as you drill your work and when you try to align holes you wonder where you went wrong. Anyhow, I double checked fitment and drilled my final size holes for the fender. Then transferred the hole marks to the frame, drilled 3/32", checked fitment, drilled final size for nutserts, installed nutserts, and checked the fender fit to the frame. Easy peasy. Now I take the right fender and place it mirror image on the right fender and mark the hole locations on the fender. Then I take the right side frame measurements and mark the left side frame. Take the left fender and do all of the above to it as the right fender. Mounted both fenders, stood back and patted myself on the back. Walked to the rear of the 7 and raised an eyebrow - something didn't look right. The rear of the left fender looked lower than the right fender. Rechecked both fenders for exact fitment to the frame-good, checked frame itself-good, measured the arc length of each fender 58" - good. Put a straight edge across bottom of frame and see that the rear of the left fender is 3/8" lower than the right. Now that's a head scratcher believe me.
So after much thought I believe I found the answer. My 7 is just like a human, and some parts of the human anatomy hang lower than other same parts, that's just the way it is, no matter if my car is male or female.
So to please my eye I removed the left fender and removed 3/8" of material from it. Now my car looks balanced again. And no one will know the difference, except whoever reads this post.

I then went on to mount the rear tail lights and wire them up. I now proved the tail lights, both signal lights, brake lights, B/U lights, and hazard light operation.
