There's a Renault logo near the bottom of the wheel. But I kinda doubt it's from a "LeCar"...

You're right, JD, but I can't believe there would be English labels on a French race car. Isn't that like illegal over there?

It's fun to speculate about what the dials are for. The ones on the lower right are "entry, mid and exit", which hints to be there about suspension behavior in turns.

But, WTF is the "Drink" button about? Isn't that what you do before you drive one of those things at 175 MPH on a wet racetrack?

And, who is the freaking optimist who thinks you're going to look down and read that central rotary selector at speed? You'd better have that thing memorized by position, or add another position that sez "Oh, Sh*t!" don't you think?

Cheers,

My guess is 2006 Renault F1, with the Mild Seven sponsorship (the light blue and white paint around the cockpit). The drink button is for refreshment during the race and I'm guessing the entry, mid, and exit are for the diff.

Also, in regards to the drink button, I think there was one driver recently who was nearly sick during a race due to the drink button/pump supplying too much during the race.

Maybe someone used windshield washing fluid?

I think the "Oh, Sh*t" deploys a parachute...

this is an old Renault F1 car on display at their factory in England.

yes my son works there as a composite laminator, he made the chassis for the current F1 cars

All pretty cool. It has a Renault logo at the bottom as a clue.

Some cars have brake balance adjustable on the steering wheel.

It's definitely going to take a while to get all the buttons to work.

I thought perhaps Wayne Industries might have had something to do with it, since it has so many labels
