If you haven't seen these yet, don't miss the new series of stories by sludgo on bringatrailer.com. The series has just begun and the first two have been superb. I won't ruin them for you by paraphrasing the stories but the author, sludgo, has a very interesting way of writing and putting words together. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Nice, short stories. They are sort of like B.S. Levy. I wonder if this is going to be a weekly thing?

Man does that bring back memories.........
Bell bottoms, 2 1/2" heel zipper boots, polyester shirts, hair down to my belt......, and yes I inhaled, deeply
And I had a 74 Pinto with a header and 60's with chrome mags on the rears, ...........cool
That's about all I remember about the 70's :D

Edit: Now look at me today, 42 years later, shorts, crocks, short sleeve cotton shirts, no hair, don't smoke....anything, no job
And I can't afford to buy my dream sports cars, I have to build them myself.....cool
And that's about all I remember about today :D

Be sure to scan through the comments that follow each story. There are some pretty amusing ones....my favorite so far is the conversation about how words mean different things to car guys versus normal people. To car guys a "carb" puts an air/fuel mix into an engine, to most people its something on a nutrition label. The funniest one, though, was the variation of meanings of "to blow a tranny". Bust me up.

I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing. Love hearing or reading stories like that.
