Hello all,

I am hoping to get some help.
I tried re-installing my WinGeo3 (304 advanced) on my windows 10 machine, unfortunately it wont run........

I have tried running as admin and changing compatibility mode but that doesn't seem to work.
Any advise would be appreciated.

I forget which version I have. I haven't tried to run it on Windows 10 but I have had similar compatibility issues with other software. It seems like Windows 10 is different enough to keep things from working. I ended up getting a cheap XP machine from eBay for $100.

I'd buy a cheap computer to run a better program before going to Vsusp. Unless it has disappeared on newer versions, you can do roll and bump versus roll center with one mouse click. It'll take a few hours on Vsusp to get the same information.

There is a dedicated window for entering bump in inches and roll in degrees. Each can be displayed compound or individually. Technically no click required.

How do you get it to do this?

I see what you mean now. I could chart similar curves with 50 pts instead of 1200 pt res but what do you want for free? The bottom line is the same. It is interesting but I don't see the justification.

WinGeo is great for being able to do lots of different suspension types, but has more of a learning curve and is overkill for anybody doing double wishbone but not for a living. VSusp is fine for double wishbone rear. Front geometry doesn't mean much without accounting for steering inputs though, which is why I still think it's hard to beat good old fashioned Wishbone 3D/VB for double wishbone armchair engineers.

But with better programs you can run a bunch of iterations of steering and roll vs. camber and quickly get a pretty good idea of what the front is doing. ;)

To the original question - I tried whatever version I have and couldn't get it to work on Windows 10. I think its down to VSusp or buying a cheap XP machine.
