With the Forum back up ( :yay: ) here's a re-post regarding the upcoming November 2019 Seattle area Locost gathering:

When: Friday, November 29 at 12:30 pm
Where: Seattletom's garage
What: Car talk, pizza and beverages

So far, JPS Europa, benny-toe, JerryH, Driven5, Seattletom and several friends and family members are planning to attend.
Other area locosters are welcome (Kartracer? Lotus19?) Let me know ( email or PM) if you haven't already, so there is enough pizza, etc. on hand and/or you need directions.

Hi Tom,

Sounds fun, but we'll have family in town for Turkey Day and I won't be able to sneak away that Friday.

Have fun!!

Joe

Joe, sorry you can't make it. Let me know when you can stop by.

Hope the weather holds so Larry can drive over in his build. But it may be a bit too chilly/wet. At least my garage is dry.

It will be chilly but sunny, Larry. Going topless will turn your headlights on.

We're a go for Friday. The garage will be warm, the pizza hot and the beverages cold.

Apple Bowl, Husky Stadium kick-off 1:00PM. Traffic from home might be a tad heavy. Just sayin'.

A nice and enjoyable meet up. Great to see JPSEuropa and his son Matt, meet Ted Atkins an accomplished fabricator, see Driven5and SeattleTom. Great chatting with all.

A big thanks for setting it up, supplying the spot and refreshments goes to Tom. Fun time once again.

Temps were not quite up to 40 degrees when we left home so alas I didn't take the Locost to this meet either. If it had been above 55 or so I would have. I'm old and need to keep warm.

Cheers!

Paul, it was great to meet you and Matt. Glad you could take the time to join us. I always learn lots from other builders' experiences. Stop by next time you are out this way. We're just at the other end of I-90.

Larry, it may have been 39*F, but it was sunny! 8) Glad you and Justin and Ted could make it over while Paul was here. Ted is a real metalworking talent. He did really nice work finish welding my headers and occasionally gives JerryH a hand.

An enjoyable (but chilly) afternoon

A good gathering for sure. Tom, it may have been 39* and you young guys may think that would be warm enough for a journey over water in an open car but when you get to my age you will realize how important it is to keep warm.
