My first post to this forum. I'm still in the contemplation phase.
If I'm building a frame and want structural tubing to be bent to a design spec, what type of business would I be looking for to have this work accomplished locally? How would I find people who could do this?

There aren't a lot of bends required but professionally executed bends at key points could make a huge difference in the end result.

Where are you located? There might be someone on this board that is handy with a bender and could help. Otherwise it would probably be a racecar fab shop since you would want someone with mandrel dies sized for roll cage tubing.

Most likely, having someone to bend tubing to your spec will be $$$$. That is, unless you have designed the tube size and radii to their available tooling sizes.

Anyone who does roll cages can do this. But you don't necessarily have to look locally. Many of us have used Rollcagecomponents.com to provide our roll bars. They are very competitive and pretty quick considering they are building one-off tubes. They provide the tubing too. I have no personal connection. yadda, yadda, yadda.

Just to reinforce what a.moore said in his reply... You say that you would like "to have this work accomplished locally", but give no location! You have come to the right place for info, but with better "background", you'll get better info!

I used VR3.ca and they even adjusted my design to fit their tooling dies. Price was far better than anything I was able to find locally. Good luck!
