Anybody know of a good, cheap source for Lincoln Electric MIG welders? Seems like prices are all over theboard. I'm looking for a 110v. I'd get 220v, but have easy enough access to a large Lincoln currently.

Wow, those prices are pretty expensive. I picked up a brand new Lincoln SP175 (220v) for about $550 shipped.

Also, I'd reccomend against getting one from Home Depot if you can help it, I've heard that local welding shops are usually less than helpful if you have any warranty issues or anything like that.

The bottom end Lincons are avaialble at places like Home Depot and Lowe's at prices that are hard to beat.

I steped up from a Harbor Frieght off brand to the Lincon (135, I think) and I am very glad I did it. It has ginve me far fewer problems. I sold off the old Harbor Freight one to an RX7 friend and he uses it very little, but it works for him.
