Yep, I think too many people get too far into the weeds thinking of new and different ways to do things. That's all fine and dandy, but at least in my mind it makes for a much greater likelihood of failure by never completing the project. I've had to talk myself out of several things.
The only 'big' design change I've made thusfar is deciding to go with a watts link, and that's only because it really isn't any harder than a panhard rod, just a little more time and material which in the scheme of things is negligible.
