Rays Wheels came threw. Got down there today and they had a stack waiting for me. They are used (off last years apex car) no complaints from me as you cant get anything better then inches of deep polished lips. They're the GT-F line and are 18x9 and 18x10 +1 offset. We are thinking about having the centers powdercoated to match. We will see how they look once the car is out of paint. That brings up another topic, Tribal red candy Flames? Paint sponsor is coming up with ideas.

Yeah, I have 8 of them which is a big help when you need to switch out tires fast. Thank You Rays!!!

Really?! No offense, but I'm still trying to understand why it's even here...

Not locost, not even tube frame. Seems to me it should be on a site for Drift car builders.

But that's just my opinion. Not trying to flame anyone.

Beside of the fact that Alex is a fellow Locoster, I find this build interesting to follow.
I don't see what's the big deal in sharing a cool project like that in the non traditional forum, heck, we have a build log of an aero scooter here and I personally shared some funky projects of my own (like an air dam that I built for my truck).

No one forces you to check it out, you know  ...

Moti who learned from this build about a good local place for powdercoating

Boy people sure do get hurt when you simply state your opinion!

All I said was

The reason why I kept checking in was I was waiting for the tie in some how...and it never happened.

For a while there, didnt know if anyone was even looking at this thread.

I just figured I may as well add the build thread here too. Its already on drifting.com, club4ag, my350z, supraforums, clublexus and a few others. I havent really contributed on here in a while since I havent done much of any work to my locost other then I had to switch out the pistons since I burned up a set. Now the diff is broken and its just sitting in the garage till I finish this project.

I'm about 50/50 right now whether I'm going out to Long Beach or not. Last year on thursday I believe they had a car show at the mall to show off all the drift and time attack cars and as a meet and greet with the drivers. I certianly hope to see you there so I can get a close look at this thing!

Naw, its not going to make long beach. This weekend is our drift event, then next week is the grand prix and there will be a drift demo inbetween the races. This car isnt going to make the deadline unfortunatly.

Some of you may know but House of Colors is helping with the paint for the car. This is why its been a while since the car has been at the body shop. They are working on something that should be interesting for the car.

After the post a few weeks back of the parts that I still needed, One of the members of club4ag emailed me saying he was going to build an sc300 and pick up a few things but never got around to using them. An intake and exhaust manifold. And if I needed them, he would trade for advertising space on the car, AOBA Japanese Thai Restaurant. check out http://www.aobajapaneserestaurant.com/ and http://indrarestaurant.com "original thai cuisine since 1975" in Glendale. I got lost and hit the wrong freeway going to pick up the stuff. Thank You Jimmy!!

Then I just wanted to show you guys the coil overs for this car. RSR I-Shocks, titanium springs, Aluminium housings, 2 way adjustable. Right now its 16kg and 16kg. Probably not going to run a rear sway bar so this should be cool. I may end up dropping the rear spring rate down a bit but need to test them first.

I also got a pair of Sparco Fighter seats, but I may need to trade these. They are the wide ones and bottom mount. I was looking for side mount and the regular size. Anyone want to trade for something else? They are slightly used (was the back seats of a fit for sema) and are pretty much perfect other then some dust and dirt from being in a car and not sat in for a long time.

I wish there was more of an update, the car is still in paint. Missing a couple things on the motor still. The valve lash is pretty far off and I dont have the shims to get it right. Think I need to have the valves cut down so I get in the range I need to just order shims from the dealer, unless someone in socal has some short 28mm shims. Think I may have found a clutch though which is good. And My web site has been updated after 6 years. I still need to fix alot of things but if you need web site work or a cool Tshirt, hit up www.kameezapparel.com
