Hey guys,

Don't know if any of you have ever used this but I find their site a great resource for affordable stock parts. Great place for rotors, misc items, etc...

The site is rockauto.com and the reason I'm posting is after you order you get an email with a discount code. So just wanna post up the code for everyone, it can be used by more than one person:

Quote:
Thank you for being a www.RockAuto.com customer! To show our appreciation, we have a special discount for you.

Your discount code is:

26878972223831

Using Your Discount Code
Enter the code above in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart. If you are using our traditional HTML catalog, please click the "Apply" button to the right of the field. Your discount will automatically appear, subtracted from your order total.

Please note: We sometimes get calls from people who put the word "discount" in front of their code and do not get the discount. Please enter ONLY the discount code, no other words or numbers.

The discount takes 5% off our already-low prices. There's no limit on order size or the number of orders. Use the code for your next order, and share the code with friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.

This discount code expires on March 14, 2010; so don't wait!

I'll second Rockauto. I've used them for several years. Their pricing is great and so is their service. I use them whenever I don't need parts "RIGHT NOW". I also use their site as a reference price so I know when I'm being gouged locally.

I had only one issue with a transmission solenoid that came with a gasket. The part came in and the gasket was trashed in the box. For expediency, I bought a new gasket (~$5.00) from the local dealer. Called rockauto and they reimbursed me for the gasket. Nice people.

My experiences have all been positive with them as well; even customer support. I've used them for a bunch of random parts on different car projects.

On another forum I belong to, there's a thread with Rockauto discount codes, continuously updated by people who order from them. Maybe we should start something here like that?

Rock Auto is great. They have a wide variety of individual parts from differing manufacturers. They ship fast and I have always gotten all of my parts in one shipment.

Thanks for the codes guys! I buy all the time and never get codes for a discount, only the ocassional magnet. If you do a search on rockauto, you'll find we've been using them since 2006 but it should have been in the suppliers section.

Just another vote for RockAuto, great guys, cheap parts. Found new complete Dorman control arms (ball joints, bushings, control arms, etc) for my girlfriends Explorer for half of what Checker wanted for them (same brand).

I use them all the time as well.

Last week my sister calls crying, she backed into a guys car at the gas station. She's a big baby but the guy is totally cool about it. He says he will buy the part (broke the bottom grill on the front of his SUV) and install it himself. He calls later telling her it's 250 bucks from the dealer. I look it up on Rock auto and it is 39 dollars, plus 9 dollars for Fedex. I call the guy and let him know we'll order the part and bring it to him. I order it on Wednesday and it is on my door step Friday morning.

I hope my Sis remembers I saved her 200 bucks when my B-day comes in a week. ;)
