well folks, I was hoping to have it at least drivable for the summer, but I've decided to put it aside for about 2 months (hopefully no longer than) to get my VW beetle drivable. My wife just started her career as a relestate agent, and I think the vw will grab some attention for her.

So I'm going to get the engine going again and installed, as well as all the little finishing touches that have been lacking to this point.

its not going to take much, but it's something that I just gotta do.

got the OK from the wife to buy the mt75 tranny, which should arrive in Vancouver sometime in the first half of august (not june like I was originally told) but I just need a stock zetec flywheel and clutch to bolt the sucker up. I am however worried that I'll have to modify the center tunnel to fit it, since I built it to fit a t5.

well i've been trying to get back to work on this for some time now.

Just got my garage cleaned up, my chassis out of the shed, my compressor wired up and now I'm ready to begin design and fabrication of the front suspension.

been making a good amount of progress but no pics as yet.

been mostly cleaning up the last of the work on the chassis, soon to begin fabrication on the front suspension.

I'm debating what to do with the floorboards, I think I want flat floors in the cockpit, unlike the usual exposed tubes. but I don't want to tackle this untill I got the driveline at least mocked up. maybe I'll get the engine and trans mounts in this weekend, that would be helpful.
