Picked up the 120/240V 4000 W portable generator I bought for $25 a while back.
Blew dust off, put in gas, primed the carb and yanked the rope.
It started for a moment on the first pull.
Then I removed the cover to repair the recoil start mechanism that did not return.
Plastic pulley is shot, $21.45 has a new one on the way.
Once running properly I will use this to power tools used on cars that are too far from the house for convenient power.

Not today but Sunday I picked up a barn find for $250.

But today! Today I met with Chris Bush, former owner of C.O.L.D. who was in the Edmonton area for business meetings and picked up these 2 gems.

Why did you buy them you ask??? Well a person can never have enough nose cones I say. Who knows? Some day I may become unbored and build another 7

And nose cones are getting rare. Good grab Perry! Ditto on the bike.

Cheers!

Rid myself of the last Japanese car.
Gave away the GEO Metro XFI for the cost of help pulling the engine and computer which I kept.
Not fond of the cars but they do have interesting very light engines.
So I have the heart of yet another build.

Thanks Benny.

Waiting for some carb shaft seals for the XS400's, so I figured I'd take a look see what my truck pistons look like, after all they have 225,000 miles on them.

Seriously though I had a DS head gasket dripping antifreeze.

Re-located an old freind I had not spoken with in over thirty years.
He's more car-crazy than I am and managed to hold on to all of his now high dollar cars.
Several of which he got from or through me many years ago.
The Aston Martin DB4, Lagonda Drop-Head, a couple of old Sports Racing cars.
Not sure of his exact count currently but I'm sure it's several more than my stash.

Hopefully not a cracked head. Maybe a freeze plug?
