Managed to order some needed Lotus Europa parts.
Should have been simple, but was not as the "Security" measures have become onerous.
I may be the last person on the planet with a home phone that does not accept text of one-time codes.

And you're doing loops already, looks like fun.

There's at least 2, my dad being the other one. He still keeps a corded phone by the kitchen table, and that's the one he uses.

Today is a success.

Backup 5 days. I ordered a used, returned and not inspected, 3d printer on eBay. Don't know at the time if it was simply unused and returned or very used broken and returned. Seller says it may be missing parts or have broken parts. No returns. I took the bait and purchased a Voxelab Aquila for less than $70 including delivery and tax. I received it 2 days later. It was a used printer, missing a few screws but otherwise complete. Over the last few days, I assembled the printer, and powered it up to see what worked. Fortunately, everything was at least functional. I ordered the missing screws, one bed leveling spring and some expendables. I kluged a replacement spring, replaced the nozzle and the Bowden tube + fittings, and of course some PLA filament. New springs are on order. I spent a day going over the mechanics and updating the firmware. Today I managed to print my 1st test piece, the infamous "test hook". It took a few tries to get the 1st layer to stick but I finally found the magic. I think this will be fun. I already have plans for a few things to print. Here is my 1st test print using Voxelab's slicer program without any adjustments.

99% reinstalled my FiTech FI conversion on my truck for the LAST time.
Either it works this time or not.
If it works, hurrah, if not I will get rid of it as I am not willing to put more time and $ into it.
I had to order one missing one AN-6 fuel barb so probably Tuesday before I know the result.

Actually Sunday instead of today.

Wifey Dearest and I headed to Raffaldini Vineyards to meet Baby Girl and her boyfriend and his parents for a picnic.

Well maybe more of a celebration than a picnic.

Rob popped the question to Baby Girl and she said yes.
Wifey Dearest and I couldn't be happier as he's a great guy and makes her light up.

All my best to the lovely couple! If the smiles on all the faces is any indication sure looks like a good match.

Congrats to Baby Girl and lightweight Dad.

Messed around with a neighbors 'Glass T-Bucket.
It has run before but some of the build was scary.
Fixing throttle linkage, shift handle, a few other minor items.
Once it operates safely he will DD it.
Datsun 1600 and four speed so great on gas.

You're going to enjoy having a 3D printer.
I've made all sorts of hooks and hangers for in the closets and out in the garage.

There are some really neat printable airplane models and I even printed a fly reel that works surprisingly well.

Hung a new toy on the wall over the weekend.

Weber Ultron 90 unit, still need to wire in the control panel.

Will be nice for reverse engineering potted assemblies without having to do exploratory surgery first...
