I have started volunteering at Yerke Observatory near me.
https://yerkesobservatory.org/

The other day when I came out to the parking lot I saw a beautiful little silver car in the middle of a photo shoot. It was a Porsche RSK configured with a single center seat. I went over to the photographer and asked if it was a kit or real. He stated it was an original and he was shooting for an upcoming Mecham auction. Mecham has a home in the area on the lake and his offices are in the area.

The photographer said the car was built so that the covers & rollbar around the cockpit can be swapped out and the seat and pedals moved to the left side of the car for different races.

He was not sure which auction it will appear in but I will bet it will demand a pretty penny!

Late 1950's sports racers... The pinnacle of racecar design. According to what I am seeing, of the 36 RSK's made, that is one of only 4 built as a 'Mittellenker' for the brief period where closed wheels were allowed in Formula racing. Not that I follow collector car prices, but I'd think easily a solid 7 figure car, and maybe even into the low eight figures.
