We're sitting here at 47*N. That's further north than 70% of the Canadian population, and we have some of that white stuff, too. And its still winter :BH:

Tom, I am reminded of my working days. When Canadian Forces Base Halifax announced a closure because of snow, we would use that as our authority in the defence research lab to stay home too. But we would inevitably be greeted the next morning by an 'all staff' email from our sister lab in Victoria BC, reporting the latest tulip (daffodil, blossom - take your pick) count!

Our daffs don't usually appear until sometime in May, and the deer eat the tulips ..... but we get stunning apple blossoms, not to forget Rhododendrons. But not now (perhaps a bit wistfully).
