I've seen several articles about this new material over the last week. This one is rather lightweight, but you can find more techie ones if you search for them.

It's supposedly easy to manufacture, but no practical data about how to form it or join it has been published yet. Being a polymer, the first thing that comes to my mind is chemical bonding, i.e., gluing with adhesives, or adhesives combined with rivets. It would be wonderful if it proved practical and economical for builders like us.

Some author is trying too hard to be cute.
Or thinks we all read at the comic book level?
Virtually no useful information beyond the material not being in commercial production.
Currently even Carbon-Fiber is still mostly unaffordable for common uses and it has been around for a long time now.
I will file this with the flying cars*, monopole magnets, super-capacitors, etc. that are so often talked about but not actually produced.

*Sure, you can buy one, IF you are crazy wealthy and do not mind the ridiculous price for sub-par performance in both roles.
