Hey Everyone

Greeting from South Africa.

This is my second Lotus 7 replica, first car was built about 11 years ago and was a Birkin with a Toyota 4AGZE with a Garret GT28 and a quaife 6 speed sequential… needles to say I regret selling it!

Anyways for my second attemp I thought I go for something a little different so here it is…

Birkin 7 race car chassis with a ZX14R strapped in next to me driven directly onto a Subaru diff.

Not sure how well it’s gonna work but hey gotta try…

My question is does anyone have experience with the ZX14R in BEC with regards to the oil system.
I have a ADAMS low profile billet oil pan installed. I’ve read that this oil pan seems to be sufficient?

Any advice or experience will be great appreciated.

Lemme know if you have any questions about my car… build in progress…

Is this one of the new race chassis with integrated cage? it looks like the rear frame is elevated on either side of the differential and it mounts differently than what i've seen before with the S3 frame configuration. Was this a customization for your setup or did the frame design change? It also looks like the older style nosecone? I preferred it's configuration vs. the new style to accommodate frame changes.
I can't speak to your choice of engines but hope this comes together without too much fiddling and faffing about.
Another potential resource for you is here: https://usa7s.net/ips/

best of luck.

Nothing to add other than it looks really neat. Appreciate the engine config (Other than that there's no spot to sit a lovely lady).
