I once used POR-15 to "patch" a freshly POR-15'd WV bug floor pan. So I got the idea to try it in a fiberglass lay-up as the resin. Absolutely bullet proof! I realize that the choices for paints are limited but it works really well.
So now I'm thinking that after I POR-15 my frame and floor panels I'll mix some POR-15 with Cabosil ( a resin thickener) into a paste and shoot it together "wet" for a monster bond and seal. It should help take some of the load off the pop rivets. Just a thought....Whadya think?
