OK, not a Locost part this time, but the repair could be the same for any manifold with "Issues". :ack:

This is my effort to prepare the Weber intake going on my SBC 327 for port matching.
It is an old "CB Performance" intake.
At each set of ports the divider is not centered, a casting error.
I've been trying to find an Inglese manifold to replace it but $2K or more is just impossible for me.
So on with the repairs.
I have to add material to one side of each divider. I will also have to remove metal from the other side.
I cleaned and then roughed up the surface that has to be built up.
I am using Permatex High Temp Epoxy which is supposed to be good for up to 500ยบ
To start I placed a doubled sheet of wax paper on my granite surface plate, then clamped the manifold against it.
After mixing per directions I used a wet butter knife to press the epoxy against the wall of the divider.
I also smoothed the top surface. I have much more material than I will need but do not want to have to apply epoxy a second time.
Once this has cured I will do the other side.

That is a 3-piece intake correct? There are 8 different ways it could bolt together by rotating and changing the position of the upper intakes. None of those lined up any better?

The lower part is my first repair.
Once that is done I will work on the four individual Weber bases.
Having individual bases makes this repair much simpler.
I applied the epoxy to the other side this morning.

This manifold appears identical to the current offering from Pierce Manifolds with the exception of the new units not having CB Performance cast into them.
I have no idea if the Pierce Manifold parts are corrected or not.
