I just finished reading Faster & that frontal shot reminds me a lot of the GP cars from the pre-F1 era.

Thanks, they have certainly inspired me. Adding the roof was aesthetically tricky. There was the 1935 Mercedes W25 Streamliner, but I don't like that look.
