That would be exciting to drive no matter what is pushing it. I'd feel like a hood ornament.

The light blue box is the LS1 outline.

What about putting the fuel tanks in the side pods ?

I would expect the full rocker length below the entry sill.

I looked at a few pics. Oil on the left, egress on the left, fuel on the right, fuel tank appears to be close to armrest height for the driver. How do you know the tank width? Tank has no protection from side impact that I could see and the only expansion space is the neck. I think it may be a single tank but I think all 908/03 were built a little different. They also have aluminum tube chassis and about a 90 inch wb.

The C5 Corvette has a 104.7" wheelbase. Do you think some of the alignment setting could be used on a 100" wheelbase ? As a starting point.

Definitely. Let tire wear/heat be your guide. Some static toe in front and rear.

Rims are going to be 18 x 9.5 F and 18 x 10.5 with 285/30-18 and 315/30-18.
Think this overdoing it ? This is a ZO6 setup.

Everything is overdoing it. Soft tires that cost $1500 a set and make great skis in the wet? Your call.

Need some help.
Where can I find a drawing of the frame pickup points for the C5 Corvette ?
Need to start thinking about the tube frame I will need.

Also I am moving away from the Chevy drive train and back to the Subaru. So it will be a frankincar. Corvette front and rear suspension and a Subaru for the trans and motor. Thinking n/a H6 6 cylinder.

Have you seen any others? Maybe something from a frame machine.

No. Why?

You might consider using two subie ifs subframes instead since you are going that way.

I can tell you that my wheelbase is 118". That number came about when I designed with the rear Vette subframe and the 4L60E C5 auto transaxle. You could get the wheelbase shorter, but it means pushing your legs/feet up to the front axle centerline. The Mongoose Motorsports guys got the wheelbase shorter, but it made for a very uncomfortable footbox based on my discussions with their test driver. My footbox is already cramped, and I have my pedals right at the front control arm pivot (the one to the rear of the car). I'm not a tall person, 5'8". To get your wheelbase to 100 inches, your feet are going to be at, or in front of, the front axle and your rear axles would probably have to be angled forward.

Having the longer wheelbase is great for stability, but makes the car resistant to changing direction. It also makes for a great 60/40 rear/front weight distribution. That means great acceleration and deceleration.
