Czinger 21C use 3d print aluminum a pillar
lotus & nichols n1a made by aluminium extrusion
hand made forged carbon are as strong as aluminium alloy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eewlYa6IQPg&t=2s)

maybe forged carbon parts + glue & bolt to make chassis will work?

another example: these 3d print aluminum parts can replaced by forged carbon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRqwmDHZkjA

and the aluminum main ring can also replaced

The thing he doesn't show is just how much weaker CF is in compression than it is in tension. As much emphasis as we place on torsional chassis strength for performance, any amount of crash safety requires compressive strength.

Could it work? Certainly. There are plenty of carbon tub cars out there. However, the first chassis would not be quick, easy, or cheap to design and build correctly.

The reason I'll stick with steel for any safety critical elements is that it's far more forgiving to the TLAR (That Looks About Right) engineering used for these types of builds.

We used to make carbon-bodied aircraft and would occasionally get back crashed ones for repair. Picture a car made entirely of wood, and what it would look like after a crash, shattered, splintered, and cracked. That's what happens to carbon in compression. Now picture what would happen to a driver when impacting said surfaces...

Difference there being that those are purpose built multi-million dollar cars, designed with driver safety in mind.
Kubica's crash was pretty horrifying though.

thats y I prefer to use forged carbon, forged carbon are easier to cointrol than carbon fiber cloth
