Most trailer sales places can get the prepainted sheets that they use to skin enclosed trailers. I just had a custom yellow trailer build for work. They had like 20 colors that I could choose from. They said they can get new sheets for repairing damaged trailers.

I tried the trailer suppliers around my area and their prepaint metal was thinner than what was offered by Performance Bodies, just something to watch for.

That performance bodies stuff is pretty doggone stiff, but not too stiff to work. I imagine anything thinner would be too hard to handle without deforming it.

My first shipment from them the corners were all bent up. I called and complained and they sent 8 more sheets out and told me to keep the bent stuff. I have plenty of aluminum now.

I just found a supplier that has just GREAT prices, for those in Texas and Oklahoma. They have Pre-Painted 4' x 8' sheet (4' x 10' is available) .040. I have about 3x4 of their black that I got from someone. It appears that it will be great to work with--lots of colors -----AND the cost as of today is a few cents over $58 (for the 4x8). I'll be visiting them next Monday. Graphic Solutions Group, Inc.
