Thinking about building one, I'm a fabricator, so the metalwork isn't an issue, but looking at the supplier's links, most all of them are dead.

What is everybody using for body work here in the USA?

Thanks

CR

I bought a FG nosecone from Jack, he's sorta kinda a great guy.

Caterham knock-off CF front fenders from kitcardirect.co.uk

Used Caterham FG fenders for the rear from a forum member here. kitcardirect also sells replica rears.

And welcome to the forum!

Two letters kinda works for me, I prefer CR... :)

What do you have they will fit the Haynes chassis layout?

I'm thinking nose, skuttle, rear fenders, would really like a bonnet also, a this point just putting together a list..

Thanks for reaching out JMC.... :)

Besides Jack, I have a couple of fiberglass cycle fender molds.

For a rather large fee I can form fenders in aluminum.

I paid just as much to ship rear fenders from Ohio to Oregon as I did to ship front fenders from the UK. That is to say it wasn't cheap, but also not as bad as you might think.

Funny, I haven't in a while, but I have had fairly large packages come from UK, like you said, shipped cheaper and faster than stuff I've shipped domestically....

The issue I'm sure, it's that there isn't much of a demand for these car parts...

Nothing against anybody, just exploring options, before I jump into it....

BTW, if I decide to do it, I would do a BEC, probably a 1000cc plant...

The original HaynesRoadster design nose and scuttle, our "steamroller" rear fenders, and wide clamshell front fenders if you're a fan of such. And windshield kits.

My web site is in my sig line, go to <Locost parts> in the main menu
