I ran into this video on YouTube.

It's from a Japanese company that is making aftermarket parts for the Caterham 7.

I think it's quite clever and there are multiple configurations possible.

What do you think?

This looks to be one of the best engineered solutions I've ever seen. Caterham should hire this guy.
