I see the three of us share a common trait - looking for that pony in the manure pile. In my teenage years I didn't have much money, but I was good at finding back-of-the-lot, or inexpensive cars that needed minimal repair. It was everything from a hot rodded '40 Ford coupe to Renault Dauphines and other "odd" European cars that no one wanted to be bothered with. Buy 'em cheap, fix them up, sell 'em as high as possible. Of course, I'd drive them for a while too. That was the fun part.
