I just changed the jets in the carb and took it for a quick spin. It scares me. This is a good thing.

Oh Yeah! looking great!!!

Now that you have those fancy numbers on that aluminum, how you gonna polish that all up nice an purdy like?

Just kidding.

I don't think you ever mentioned, are you premixing? I didn't see any mention of the OMP delete option. If so, what ratio? I am using TCW3 at 124:1; but I only run on the street.

Looking good and good job. What track was your track day at and where do you run the autocross. They are fun.

Track Day was a Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI http://www.gingermanraceway.com/. Great sports car circuit only about an hour from home.

The Tire Rack Vehicle Dynamic test track for most of our local SCCA solo (autocross) events.http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testingProgram.jsp We also run at Grissom Aeroplex in Peru, IN http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grissom_Aeroplex. Both are in our region. We are a bit lucky here to have 2 great autocross venues to play on.

Getting used to the car. I am learning that things happen much faster in a Mod class car than a stock class car. I gotta look WAY ahead! Big fun though.

AMEN to that, Brother!
I had a rather humbling experience the other day, when James stopped by with a GoPro recording he'd made of me and the Slotus on Sunday. My driving is HORRIBLE! Timing is off, coasting too much, braking too early, etc, etc.

A part of it is just out of practice after missing a couple of years worth of events whilst working on the car. The other factor, I believe, is that this car is just that much quicker than the MGB I was running before. The B was no slouch, as MGBs go, but still... I recall calculating that the MGB was good for about 48 mph at redline in 2nd gear. The Slotus, according to my calc's, is right at 70 in 2nd redlined. No F'ing wonder I'm behind!!! Stuff is comin' at me a lot faster than it used to!

Cool, ain't it? Enjoy!
