The light blue is the lights.
Doors are roll up steel.
Walls will be 8mm Twin-Wall Polycarbonate Sheets. I used on my wood shop and has worked great.

I've used those panels as roofing, and they worked fine. As walls I'd be worried about robbers.

An interesting start to a very interesting-looking build...

Even metal isn't hard to get into. The main thing is not to provide any "eye candy".

Leave the wall top open and fit hardware screen small enough to stop wasps and to help the heat from the roof escape, especially when you are not out there/closed up. Vent the ridge and cooler air will pull in from the wall top/soffits. Better still to add sheet foam a few inches below the roof to provide a channel to the ridge and separate the airspace.

The general plan will be to white wash the wall panels from the inside.
Venting will be at the gable ends along with a fan.
Will use a evap cooler for spot cooling.
Good idea about the screening.
It will also have a camaca system with alarm. I have a 300 blackout for any other problems. LOL

Looks a lot more comfortable outside there than it is here. I'm preparing to grade everything for relocated metal 24' wide carports to enclose with new 5 rib panels. Using wayne dalton 16x7 garage doors at about $250 each from Lowes. The metal is about $2/linear foot from local formers. I only need to frame the gable ends. A case of amazon 4 foot led strip lights linked and wired to an outlet with an switch control.

Kinda like this guy but metal, not vinyl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pez_69LkldQ

Cool starts about 39-41. By the end of the day about 60+-. Got rain today. About .6 for the last 6 hours. But its winter for the AZ.
Need to close the soffits then to the 8mm poleycarb panels and the doors. Going with 2 roll up steel doors 8' x 7" and 14' x 9'and a man door of 36".

Looks great! I find it kind of discouraging that my 20' x 24' garage is always a staging area for all sorts of non-automotive stuff. Protect your space!

You have that right.
I built a wood shop and it now has my mother-in-laws stuff. She passed last January. But my table saw is in the garage ?
Hope to have that cleaned out this spring. Life sure keeps getting in the way.

My hope is to have only project's in the new building and my tools.

The list is.

Pull down the American 7 and finish paint and reinstall everything.
Finish the Lotus-15 with the R1 building then pull down and paint and reinstall everything.
Finish the install of a Subaru 1.8 turbo in a 72 914.
Finish the wiring on a 85 Jimmy with a 3800 SC.
Then build the buck for a 908-3 body to go on my mid-engine chassis.

All before I"M DEAD or before my WIFE kills me.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Just a thought, during my project I have performed an extraordinary amount of time cutting and shaping steel with sidegrinders with cutting discs and flap wheels, grinding wheels. Then a daily grind of sweeping and clearing up all the dust from “the daily grind”. Anything you can do to set up a dedicated area, booth, station for grinding sparks, you will be doing yourself a favor.
Maybe having a small rolling cart/tabletop for keeping tools and stuff near you while working. Nice shop, good space. Cheers !

All the tables will be on wheels.

I'm down to the roll-up doors and trim work. Getting closer.

New (to me ) tool but I need to look
to what will need to be cut. My old saw is under my Son's watch running my real shop. LOL.
Just needed a good tune up. People don't know what they have. SAD ! But it is a little thing.
Got it for $100
