Bill Hinscher https://www.facebook.com/bill.hincher ________ http://www.billsautofab.com makes a conversion bellhousing to fit the EJ series (and the EE series YeeeHaw!) Subie engines to the toyota R and W series transmissions.
About $500 I think. .. Uses the stock Subie flywheel/pressure plate/TO bearing with a Toyota disc.
You'd still need to source a trans but those are already very common units and pretty easy to find.

I’m starting to build a cage to for track day protection. Last year I was a little nervous about running the car on the track and always ended up taking the 335i out instead. I put too much effort into this build for just auto-X so the goal is to get this on the track a couple of time this year. Any input is appricated.

Will you be doing straight tubes above your head or will they be bent like the red car's?

I'm planning on bending them to keep plenty of head/helmet clearance. I'm considering placing two tubes in an X pattern across the top to eases entering and exiting the car.

Safety is rarely convenient.

First dust off of the car this year. I have some carb work to do with a stumble coming getting on the gas.
