Been awhile since I left A post but we've been buisy as you can see. We got a lot of the frame done and ready to start on the suspension, got the nose cone and scuttle from Jack at Kinetics and they look GREAT!!!!! Set them in place and they fit perfect.
I've been designing the A arms and have been pulling my last few hairs out. So I decided to keep it as simple as possible and stick with the Haynes / Saturn planes. It's been a lot of fun so far.

Its been a long cold winter but build season is here and I am off to A good start. Got the drive train all mocked up, Steering shaft shortened, ordered new wheels, Got my coil overs on order, fuel tank is laid in and steering column is done. I know their are about a hundred other things I have done but i'm a very slow typist so we will cover that stuff later oh yea check out the full set of Speed hut gauges I scored on ebay.

Dash Board just about done. Didn't want a plain dash so went and got some red and black vinyl and got on YOU TUBE to teach myself how to sew upholstery and there you go....What is the opinion?????

Used Aircraft 1/4 inch honey comb aluminum covered with A layer of thin foam I sourced from the trash at work and covered in the 2 tone vinyl. Used 3m spray adhesive in between layers. then added my Speed hut Gauges and 4 rocker switches for my 007 gadgets latter on. Also added LED turn signal and high beam indicators.

Yo!
Yep, like they said, good looking dash. I wanna know more about those "007 Gadgets" though... Ejection seat? Rear machine guns, or license plate flippers???

Finally got another pict uploaded. we had just got it off the build table and had to take it for a drive :D well at least we had fun pretending. the blue tape stripes will be red in the final version to match the stipe on the dash. Got it all stripped down doing final welding and a few odds @ ends before paint. Dam its a lot of welding and grinding......
