Very nice, very nice indeed. Welcome to the 10%er club! :yay: :yay:

You know what happens next, eh? You start to get the jitters, itches, and blinky eyes. The only cure to get rid of that is to start planning your next build, I should know

That is a sweet looking car! Nicely done. The color and brightwork really sets it off. Congratulations.

Eric, What is in the planning and how it looks in your mind, you hope for the best. There are things on the car that changed 4 or 5 times. It looks like I had in my head, crazy. I was really apprehensive about the color being too bright. When my buddy picked out the color for the stripes it just melted together. It’s a cream with a very lite hint of yellow. Up close it looks like a vintage cream. Thanks man.

Thanks a lot. You are so right. Follow me for more bad decisions on my 69 MGB GT. Somehow I have to add the link and this site didn’t let me last time. MG GT V8 is the header. It will be my 3 season daily driver when it’s done. My wife is not really a 7 gal so we desired this would be a cool grand tour car she could help design and have some fun with.

Took my yearly trip to Knoxville. You guys will love this, I didn’t take one picture. I ended up cutting up and fabricating anti-sway bars for this 57 chevy that my buddy owns. Wow what a transformation, it’s just incredible. The thing goes around a corner almost as fast as a 7. We really only did one day of driving the roads and that was a shakedown for the truck. Nonetheless it was very sunny and great trip. The 7 ran awesome, the LSD was put to the test for the first time in repeated corners and it’s flawless. What a big difference it makes. I took corners much faster than the past and the car just goes with it.

Sounds like my TBird 7 build Steve. The way I describe to people is that "it takes fast corners like it was on rails".

Exactly Perry it’s enough to blow your mind. I hardly drove the 7 this trip but learned so much from doing this truck. I also put the mustang 2 front end on it this past winter and had this trip to drive it. Wow is that nice. They are worth every penny. I got a bunch of MG insight too hanging with the MG guys.

My buddy was at Barber this weekend and sent me this pic of a rear sway bar on a Lotus 7 race car. Has anyone seen anything like this. Looks kinda funky.

I’ve not been out there in a very long time.
Looks like easy access to tweak without major mods was the goal, though there is not much adjustment with the framing in the way. The arms appear extremely long, but maybe he only needs about 20 lbs of roll resistance. Appears to rely entirely on grub screws in aluminum to hold the links on, and no jamb nuts.

Started out doing a poker run with some guys and lasted until lunch so I gave them my cards and said you guys fight over the cars. A couple hours later I got a call and I won HAHAH!! Put on 200 miles running around our northern peninsula and visited a friend of mine for a while. What a day. Saw every kind of weather. I put the map on here. We do this a lot. It’s fun all year
